This is a DVD that brings to life the childrens paperback book also available on this site. Aimed at younger children, it tells them the story of Liverpool and the Liver birds. (Click on photo to enlarge)

The story is told through the eyes of two Liverpool youngsters Jack and Molly. Bored and stuck with nothing to do on a rainy day, they decide to ask their Grandad to tell them one of his stories. He then takes the kids on the famous ferry across the Mersey to tell them the story of the Liver birds and how they came to be. The tale is presented ‘Jackanory’ style by the author Rick Myers.
